France & Lance

Flat Thalia & Flat Carys are at it again. They hopped on a plane and flew to France. This time they were spotted in southern France in the French Riviera. After enjoying the Mediterranean Ocean and warm weather, they drove down the coast to the fabulous Monaco. And would you believe it? They saw Austin's famous cyclist, Lance Armstrong, racing down the streets in the Tour de France. What a fun-filled week!

Norway, Land of Fjords & Norwegians

Flat Thalia & Flat Carys have been to Norway! They did lots of hikes and were plenty worn out. They even hiked to Preikestolen which mean's Pulpit's Rock. They each peered over the 600 meter drop to the sea and got a little scared! That's over 6 football fields up in the air!

Prague...Czech out Thalia & Carys

Thalia & Carys loved the Palace in Prague. And below they really enjoyed the nice weather at the Astronomical Clock in Old Town Square.

Who doesn't love ice cream on a hot day in Prague?


And I think this was their favorite. The Prague toy museum...so many Barbies!

Blarney Castle

Thalia & Carys joined us on our adventure to Cork & Blarney Castle. It was their first Irish bus ride.


They learned what happened to hungry Irish children who stole bread during the famine.


They were part of dinner in the Witches Kitchen in Blarney.

Then they climbed the 4 stories of narrow staircases to reach the top of Blarney Castle!


At the top Thalia & Carys got to see the Blarney Stone! They say if you kiss it you'll get the gift of gab!

Spain!

Thalia & Carys had so much fun in Spain! Here they are in front of the Palacio Real in Madrid.
And they really enjoyed their jamon y queso con cervezas.


Next they headed to Gibraltar to see the apes at the Rock of Gibraltar. Look at all the fun.

And lastly, they loved churros con chocolate in Sevilla!

Dublin adventures...Guinness & Jameson

The real Thalia and Carys may be a little young for a pint of Guinness, but Flat Thalia & Flat Carys quite enjoyed their tours.
